This week it is the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. There are a lot of new twists this year. First, the event is now being operated by the PGA of America, partnering with the LPGA Tour. Second, the purse has been increased substantially from $2.25 million last year to $3.5 million this year. Finally, this is the first time Westchester Country Club has hosted this event, though it has hosted PGA and Champions Tour events in the past. Inbee Park is the defending champion this week. Headlining the field: Lydia Ko, Inbee Park, Stacy Lewis, Hyo Joo Kim, Suzann Pettersen, Shanshan Feng, So Yeon Ryu, Anna Nordqvist, Cristie Kerr and Brittany Lincicome. CHAMPIONS TOUR Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS Championship Dates: June 11-14 Venue: Belmont Country Club, Belmont, Mass. Headlining the field: Colin Montgomerie, Bernhard Langer, Kenny Perry, Jesper Parnevik, Rocco Mediate, Corey Pavin, Tom Lehman, Mark O’Meara, Kirk Triplett and Mark Calcavecchia. PGA TOUR FedEx St. Jude Classic Dates: June 11-14 Venue: TPC Southwind, Memphis, Tenn. PGA Tour prankster and silly man Ben Crane is defending champion this week having closed out the round one shot ahead of Troy Merritt last year. A nice addition to the field this week is the NCAA Individual National Champion Bryson DeChambeau from Southern Methodist University. Headlining the field: Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Billy Horschel, Brooks Koepka, Charl Schwartzel, Webb Simpson, Luke Donald, Graeme McDowell, Patrick Rodgers and Ben Crane.
