A very simple and useful golf training aid is the Frogger Swing Hero. The Swing Hero fits onto the end of the golf grip and helps the golfer with a couple of major grip issues.
First, the Swing Hero helps the golfer get the feel of using a lighter grip and avoiding gripping the club too hard, also known as a "death grip." The death grip is very bad for the golf swing, producing very erratic shots and actually often times reducing power and distance.
Second, Swing Hero can be rotated on the grip. The guard around the top of the grip helps the golfer get the hands into a proper position on the grip. If the hands are not in the proper position, in other words "too weak" or "too strong," slices and hooks much more possible.
