Check out the quote at the end of the first paragraph: "The San Mateo, California based Frogger Golf is a company who does accessories better than the competition."

Couldn't agree more, Chris!  Thanks for the positive comments.

  • Great feature on Golf More Swing Less!

We'd like to thank "Golf More Swing Less" (also known as Golf > Swing <) for doing such a fine article and accompanying video on Frogger's products.  The article is well written and they really paid attention to detail.

Here's their concluding paragraph: "Frogger Golf has opened my eyes and made me a believer in their products. I am going to keep their items in my bag this golf season and recommend you consider Frogger Golf upon your next purchase."

  • New PGA Show Video Interview

Just when I was wondering what to post today for the midweek blog, our friends at Hooked On Golf Blog posted their PGA Show interview of Frogger's own Jeremiah Bohannon.  The audio isn't the best because of the noise level at the show, but in this vid the three new products (Cart Poncho, Arc Angel, Swing Hero) are covered.

  • Monday Wrap Postponed

The Farmers Insurance Open final round is scheduled for TODAY due to weather delays.  As we're still getting back from the PGA Show, we will post our regular Monday Wrap following the conclusion of the Farmers.  Here are the TV times for today.

    2:10PM – 4:00PM - Final Round, Farmers Insurance Open - Golf Channel

  • Frogger featured in Silicon Valley / San Jose Business Journal

We are very excited about the latest press Frogger has received in the Silicon Valley / San Jose Business Journal.

    Frogger-SVBJ

    Frogger-SVBJ

The article starts with the story of Frogger's beginnings through CEO Jeremiah Bohannon.  It finishes with the news of new products, a new web site and new media/commercials hitting in November.  The frog is out of the bag!

Rather than copying or quoting the article, which is quite long and detailed, click the image above or follow this link the the Silicon Valley / San Jose Business Journal.

  • Shots from the PGA Show

Busy day at the PGA Show today!  Here are a few shots of the booth.

  • Year End Posts

As 2011 draws to a close, many golf web sites are doing their reviews of the past year in golf and some previews for 2012.  There are some fun countdowns, reviews and previews.  Here are a few:

    • PGA Tour's 2012 PGA Tour Preview covers the top 100 players to watch.  In a way that is sort of funny, because the top 100 are pretty much the ones which will be in the spotlight anyway.

    • The PGA Tour Facebook page has a cool photo spread, the TOUR photographer's best of 2011.

    • The PGA Tour web site also has the top 10 shots of the year, with of course Bill Haas's $10 million lake shot as number 1.

    • Golf Channel posted their top 10 most read stories of the year, based on web traffic.

    • A more creative top 10 list from Golf Channel is the Top 10 shots taken at Tiger in 2011.

    • Lexi Thompson and Keegan Bradley make Golf.com's top 10 breakout golfers of 2011.

    • Golf.com also does an image gallery of the top 10 biggest disappointments of 2011.  Inside are Graeme McDowell, Michell Wie, Jim Furyk and 7 others.

    • Fun to look at Yahoo UK & Ireland's top five golf stories of 2011.

    • On the gear end of things, Golf Digest has a list of the top 10 biggest equipment stories of 2011.  Frogger Golf must have come in at #11.

    • On the golf blogging end of things,  GolfBlogger.com posted a preview of 2012 with some predictions, some reasonable and some not.  Hooked On Golf Blog did a look back at 2011 pro golf: part one - part two.

  • New Amphibian Tour Towel Review

We got some nice press last week from a popular golf blog.  Check out the new review of our Amphibian Tour Towel over at the Hooked On Golf Blog.

    Rain

We've promoted the Amphibian Tour Towel as a great golf towel for the rain, because the inside will stay dry while it is fine for the rain to fall on the outside of the towel.  They took it one step further.  Due to the sheer size of the towel they used it as an actual rain cover.  Great idea!

"This is a great golf towel which can be much more to a golfer than just a standard towel.  Performance and craftsmanship are as I’d expect from Frogger, top notch." ~Hooked On Golf Blog on the Amphibian Tour Towel

Thanks to our friends at "HOG" for the great review.

If you know of any other Frogger product reviews out there anywhere, please let us know!

  • Healthy Golf Obsession Amphibian Towel Review

Frogger Amphibian Towel ReviewThanks to "A Healthy Golf Obsession" for the nice review of the Frogger Amphibian Towel.  We especially love it when people post on their blogs or their social sites unsolicited favorable reviews.

A clean ball and clean clubs on a dry day and dry grips on a wet day, all courtesy of one towel that clips to your bag.  What more could you ask for?

It is an awesome golf towel and I would highly recommend it to you.

By all means let us at Frogger Golf know if you see a review online or wrote one yourself on your blog, Twitter, Facebook or somewhere else.  We'd love to hear about it!

  • New HOP! and BrushPro reviews

We're excited to announce some new product reviews posted recently online of the BrushPro and the new HOP! green repair tool.

BrushPro reviewed at A Good Walk Spoiled

Jeff Palopoli did a great review of the BrushPro for his web site A Good Walk Spoiled.

The BrushPro features a large handle that fits in to your palm nice and comfortably. You can tell how sturdy it is when you hold it, a sure leg up on most of the other brushes I’ve used that usually come with a thin, toothebrush like handle that feels like it will snap if too much pressure is applied. It also comes with an interchangeable brush head for cleaning your golf shoes. Which we all know how those softspikes can clog up with dirt and grass.

One of the greatest features of the BrushPro is the groove cleaner, which pops out from the top of the brush and locks in to place. This is a great tool to have to dig out the caked in dirt deep in the grooves of your irons. It’s nice and sharp and will have no problem digging anything out of those grooves." ~Jeff Palopoli

HOP! reviewed at Hooked On Golf Blog and The Golf Space

The new HOP! green repair tool has seen its first reviews online by Tony Korologos, who runs Hooked On Golf Blog and The Golf Space.

"To prevent the Fiddler from sucking the life out of everyone on the green when he’s fishing for his ball marker, the HOP! green repair tool has super strong magnets embedded inside which suck the ball marker from the deep, dark recesses of the pocket.  The marker sticks to the tool and is then easy to find.

The HOP! green repair tool not only does a fantastic job fixing ball marks, but it eliminates the small and irritating problem of not being able to find your ball marker in your pocket.  Plus, the tool seems to do a better job of “repairing” the green, rather than doing more damage to it. "~Tony Korologos

The article is the same on both sites, so take your pick by reading The Golf Space HOP! review or the HOG HOP! review.
